Frequently asked questions
Planning your wedding or elopement is an adventure and I’m here to help you. But you probably have some questions first. Here are my answer to some frequently asked questions, but if you don’t find what you’re looking for, please get in touch with me and I’ll be happy to help!
1. What is your style and approach?
My approach is natural, meaning I won’t spend all day posing you for formal images. My goal is to present an honest story of what really happened, without interfering, so that you can relax and live this day with full intensity.
2. What is included in your services?
You will receive all your images edited in high resolution quality and a password protected online gallery. For Engagements and Elopements I offer personalised services, such as location recommendations, vendors lists etc to help you create the perfect adventure.
3. What do I need to do to secure my date?
Your date will be reserved once I receive signed agreement and 40% deposit.
4. Do you travel?
Yes! I am based in Mallorca but I love seeing new places with my couples, so I’ll go anywhere to photograph your adventure. Email me for the exact date or a specific travel quote.
5. What kind of equipment do you work with and do you use flashes?
I use only professional gear provided by Nikon. All my camera bodies and lenses are made for working in any weather situation and light condition. I will use flash if you are getting married in a dark church and in the evening when natural light is not available anymore.
6. How many hours should we calculate for wedding pictures?
The amount of time I suggest you to set aside for photos depends on the time of day.
Preparation Shots – 60 minutes to 1.5 hours
Couples session – 45 minute to 1 hour
The duration of your couples session really depends on you two. I always recommend to take photos shortly before sunset when the light is the best.
Family pictures – 30 minute to 1 hour
I will ask you already before your wedding to provide me a list of pictures that you want with your family and friends. Also, have one person that is really organised (and loud) to help me to move people in and out of the photos.
7. How many pictures will we receive?
That depends on the hours of your wedding, but it will be around 50 images per hour. The same is for engagements and couple sessions. Most of the time you will get more than that as I never hold back my work if there are many more stunning pictures to show.
8. Can we order an album?
Nowadays printed pictures have a very special value. Technology is constantly advancing and what you have digitally now, may become untraceable over the years. I work with Floricolor photo lab, one of the photo album major printers, due to their durability, print quality and cover style options. You can choose from different types of fabric and sizes, so you can give a small album to your maid of honour, mom, grandparents etc. The cover of your album can be personalised with your names, color, material etc.
9. Can we meet you in person before our wedding?
Absolutely! I love meeting and getting to know my couples before their big day. This way we already know each other, which will make you more relaxed on your wedding day. If there is no time or you live too far to meet, then we can set up a Skype or FaceTime.
