A BEAUTIFUL MALLORCA ELOPEMENT FILLED WITH LOVE AT CAP DE FORMENTOR
A DREAMY ELOPEMENT IN MALLORCA –
ANJA & LUCAS INTIMATE WEDDING
CELEBRATION
Anja and Lucas share a love story that began on a dance floor. They met over five years ago at a Salsa and Bachata festival — a moment that grew into a deep connection built on music, rhythm, and the rich cultural flavors of Lucas Costa Rican and Spanish heritage. When they decided to elope in Mallorca, they envisioned something simple, personal, and meaningful: a ceremony surrounded by nature, reflecting their journey together.
Their day began in a charming boutique hotel Hoposa Cultural in Port de Pollença, where Anja, a talented fashion designer, prepared for the celebration in the dress she had designed herself — a personal masterpiece that reflected her style and story. During the getting-ready moments, she shared a short but emotional video call with her parents, showing them her dress and including them in her special day despite the distance.
Before the ceremony, Anja and Lucas chose to have their first look in front of the church of Santa Maria in Port Pollença. This quiet moment was filled with anticipation, tenderness, and the joy of seeing each other for the first time on their wedding day.
We then made our way to the top of Formentor for their intimate elopement ceremony. Instead of traditional vows, they had written an entire book for one another — pages filled with memories, feelings, and the story of how they met. As they began reading, a large cloud slowly drifted over the mountain, wrapping us in a soft white haze. The world disappeared around them, creating a beautifully ethereal and mysterious atmosphere that made their words feel even more intimate and suspended in time.
After sharing their vows and officially becoming husband and wife, we headed down to Mirador Es Colomer to step out of the cloud and enjoy Mallorca’s dramatic coastal views. Here, Anja and Lucas celebrated with a bottle of champagne, popping it open against the backdrop of cliffs and sea. We captured beautiful, joyful portraits of them as newlyweds — moments full of laughter, lightness, and pure happiness.
This Mallorca elopement perfectly reflected who Anja and Lucas are: warm, joyful, expressive, and deeply connected. A day built not on tradition but on meaning — and an honor for me to capture as their Mallorca elopement photographer.
Every moment felt intentional, from the slow morning filled with quiet excitement to the way they held each other during the ceremony, completely present and undistracted. They embraced the island’s peaceful rhythm, letting the soft Mediterranean light, the warm breeze, and the raw beauty of the landscape become part of their story.
Witnessing their connection was incredibly special — a celebration not of spectacle, but of who they truly are together. Days like these remind me why I love what I do: capturing emotions that are real, unposed, and honest.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to be part of such an intimate and meaningful day. Your elopement was filled with so much depth, calmness, and emotion — moments I’ll carry with me for a long time. ’m truly grateful for your trust and for being able to capture it for you.
